Dot-XXX Lives: Arbitrators Side With ICM Registry
Cue the firestorm!
http://business.avn.com/articles/37414.html MARINA DEL REY, Calif.?Dot-xxx, the controversial sponsored top-level domain (sTLD) rejected in March 2007 by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), has risen from the dead...again. |
i wonder if gord is going to honor all those pre regs of the .xxx
|
This sounds like a lot of legal bills to me.
|
Scum bags.
|
This will not end well for any of us.
|
The main reason this was a controversy was the TLD's price tag ($75 per domain), and eventuality of a XXX ghetto. Which I am sure Lawley will start pushing for, or recommending, once this goes into full effect.
Anytime underage viewing of porn comes up, I am sure there will be a press release from Lawley. :disgust |
at this point, he's too late.
|
Here comes the .xxx ghetto.
|
So what to do? Buy up our own domains with the .xxx TLD?
We don't really know how the search engines will respond. |
If this extension is not mandatory, why give it any attention whatsoever?
Why throw a dime at this nonsense? |

SEs are not going to give two shits about .xxx or any other new extension coming out of this whole icann mess they just created to make more money. :2 cents: |
