Why can't some people admit when they're wrong?

Is it pride? Is it somehow a character flaw? Strength? What the hell is it?

If person A and person B were standing together, and person A kicked a red ball into traffic, and nobody else witnessed it, why would person A refuse to acknowledge that they kicked the ball to person B, who was the sole witness? To what purpose would it be to deny it even though there would be zero consequences?

I really struggling with this one believe it or not, so any input is appreciated!

You obviously have something troubling you of which you feel you can sort out your problem on GFY.... This should & can be possible as we do all work in the same business & therefore should see each other as colleagues. However, this is a cut throat biz of which some of you guys are rivals, therefore you can find that people can use & abuse the mind & soul.

I agree from my own circumstances that 1 character can be defaced through the weak insults or degrading blasts from comments of others.

I would always think that the truth does out & that we should all continue to be strong. Work, rest & play.

Because even when I'm wrong, I'm still in the right

That how "they" function in the world... if they admit they're right, their whole act falls apart.

it's even funnier when you have evidence and they won't admit it.

"I agree from my own circumstances that 1 character can be defaced through the weak insults or degrading blasts from comments of others."

Thats politics in a nutshell isn't it? lol!

But it's instructive too, because like in politics, perhaps there is no genuine desire to have a meeting of the minds. So party B is just spinning their wheels trying to beg for bipartisan support when there is absolutely no desire to give any from party A. That seems plausible.

Thanks :pimp

We have a friend like that here but his problem isn't denying it is knowing it all, he will argue every point you make even when he 100% wrong and you prove it in writing he still is defensive about it, won't admit he was wrong.

he drives us all nuts but it is a small island we don't push ppl out of "the group"very often, we accept their personality flaws and hope outsiders don't notice...lol
