They played a good game, dominated the puck, but who ever said they got beat by a great goalie was exactly right.

He did pretty well own them. I only caught the end of the game, when they sent a barrage of shots, managed 1 goal, only for US to come right back with a single shot on their empty goal (with the guy having to reach around a Canadian player in front of him!) that scored a goal to go back up by 2. That was pretty fucking hilarious.

Well, we will see how it ends this season, if I am not wrong Canada will play against Russia in the quarter finasl, right? So one of the two teams goes home without a medal this year.

I'm shocked at the outcome. Everybody knows the Canadians underestimated the American team. Why shouldn't they? They are the favorites? I want to Canada-Russia and USA-Russia.

you dont have a clue what you are talking about. Canada is hands down the best hockey country in the world and proves it time and time again. One game in the prelims doesn't mean shit. We'll see what happens moving forward.

I was pissed last night b/c I could not watch the game. NBC was playing figure skating and CNBC had on Curling. And once the hockey game was over NBC switched over so the announcers could give an analysis of the game.

WTF!?! Curling is more important then hockey???

The Canadians are slowly fading away. The biggest thing going for Canadian hockey is Crosby and he is just a cry baby bitch. Sorry but it's all about Euro players right now in the Olympics and in the NHL... oh and USA USA USA is coming along ;)
