Damn iPhone SDK
 

What a complete waste of time, I picked up this fucking G5 to do some development and finally after setting up the machine with a new install of Leopard and waiting 3 hours to download the SDK, Come to find out...that this mother fucking SDK only runs on Intel based machines.

I am a complete idiot, Let the bashing begin....

yeah, didn't know they sold G5's anymore. hard to do mac development or iphone development on an older machine.

I did the same thing like 6 months ago then went and bought a MacBookPro.

To be fair ... Intel machines have been the mainstay for a few years now! :) hehe. I'd grab a Mac Mini or something. Just something to get you by. You wont need super fast for iPhone dev.

Actually, the mac mini's are pretty speedy little computers. I use one in my home entertainment setup. They even offer a server version of it.

I was pretty sure someone told you this when you posted before.
