I can imagine that other dude taking that up as racist, but still does not justify throwing a swing at an 67 yo guy

I just can't imagine the other guy taking that simple statement as racist other than to instigate.

Some old dude saying he's going to get his boy to shine his shoes makes me think of him referring to his son, not a black guy. Some old southern dude saying 'Hey boy, come shine my shoes' makes me think of a black guy.

He's more of a thug then that black dude he beat on. lol.

The racist black guy was just looking for shit to get annoyed at.

I think if the guy had been in prison for a long time as he said that might be true.

Here's someone who's been pissed on his whole life but he ain't going down without a fight. He stood up for what he felt was right the best way he could with what tools God gave him.

I remember the video too - sure he was crude/rude - he's a fucking senior - he has a right to that - but he walked away and went to the front of the bus - the black guy came to him again. the old guy actually tried the best way he knew how to stop the violence. When he couldn't get away - he thumped him good.

I seriously have ENORMOUS respect for him
