I want to just nix the entire rebill process and charge by the year!

It can be discussed if high PPS or revshare is best for the affiliate, but for paysite owners and the end customer It certainly is best with recurring joins.

Some members prefer to pay monthly and some prefer to pay by the year and get a discount. SpookyCash sites offer both options. I think it is best to leave it up to the consumer to decide what they want and try to give them what they want.

I have a massive problem with sending many, many hits to this page and such a low conversion ratio.

It is a bottleneck in the process of making money. It is your money and my money that is amiss.

The recurring part right above the "complete this purchase". Could be displayed so many other ways that quite frankly, is a barrier to sales

I am a revshare advocate but recently I have been doing better with PPS - surfers are getting picky.

I agree with amelia, the best is to leave it up to the customers, they will decide if they prefer to pay for a year membership and get a discount or to pay monthly just in case they get bored to fast.

feel free to make up your own verbiage, and then submit it to ccbill, maybe they will approve it if it discloses the needed information

i have done it on a pay per download site, used the verbiage (one time charge)

It's funny that you mention this, because back in 2004ish (i think) when Visa started cracking down, the verbiage changed in these forms

It didn't have all that 30 dollars for 30 days then 30 dollars recurring every 30 days blah blah blah

you basically were allowed to bury that in your footer on your page

and in the ccbill form it just simply said (30.00 recurring)

ESPECIALLY after they have been hammered a few times by one of those programs that do 2 prechecked cross sales

Yea. When you get $50 on a $1 trial as an affiliate It takes a while(if ever) to reach that per member $.

And get rid of people like 12clicks who fuckin killed the cards!!

It is not an anomaly that I had 168 join form hits and 3 sales yesterday. It is the manner in which the final step of getting someone to pay is bottlenecked by the pay form!

This is HUGE money! It is exhausting to bitch about over and over but IMO this is it, bad join form.

Why not just say 29.95 recurring, when somebody wants to pay for something they want to know the price, that's it! Then somewhere else, AND NOT RIGHT ABOVE THE JOIN BUTTON, indicate recurring means that it will automatically renew each month until cancelled. NOT 30 days at x dollars recurring every 30 days until your card is bungholed!!!

Set up a non recurring join page with 1, 3 & 12 month options. Then do some a/b testing.

I have several times. I know everybody at ccbill by their names because I have called so many times.

Every way I try to alter the form ends up sucking.

The form needs to say 29.95 for 30 days! Then have a note box that says this is a recurring charge until cancelled.

That's it... none of this text that is a product of shit Xsales etc!

Good advice. The problem is everybody will select 1 month non-recurring. So if I get double signups I cut my profit by 2/3. Maybe I get 10% conversions which would be about 15 signups which would be about 5 recurring signups per day.

What I am saying is why can't I get 10% signups with the recurring option? All it would take, again imo, is a little rewording.

yeah maybe... i doubt it though. My site is both free and paid... meaning they click around a lot to get to the form. Average clicks is 20 pages... so on average, the form hits I get are a result of 20 clicks.

Now only 1,2, 3 percent of those clicks actually wanted to pay?

im not going to lie and in surfer mode.... kinda drunk... clicked to your site tried to play and ended up at a join page... that just may be it... i know your trying to get sales but at the same time maybe a little less agressive... you have something "sticky" to keep surfers coming back and chance of a join

The blinking actually has had the best conversion to date... certainly the most form hits. I will likely change the entire page in the near future again because I always do.

That form was just put up less then 2 weeks. Prior it was a simple form with the pricing shown.

I understand what you are saying but disagree that saying it prior will help. I think my join hits should be around 10-15% conversions and they are not.

Just put up a 95.40 option today... got rid of the price per yada days rebilling every yada days at whatever price right above the submit button.

More sales and even a yearly... hmmm.
