come up with your Nick?

I'll start, no brainer. CyberAge, CyberAge-Dave
But some of you have some crazy names, what do they mean and how did you come up with them?

I was originally called this nickname in real life (even when I didn't know about GFY) by some other people.

I have no fucking idea TBH, I called my self "Nickname" for a while too but my real name is Daniel. LOL

I think mine is pretty much a no brainer as well. :winkwink:

Does it mean anything?

Well I was trying to think of a good alias.. . Some dude said aliasx, it stuck. When I joined here alias was available so I dropped the x.

DaddyWarbucks was rich. But my name is Hal.

Many years ago, when I was on IRC, I couldn't come up with a good nick that I liked.

One day I was reading an article about Courtney Love launching a production company called Epitome Productions. I liked that word because the definition is "the embodiment or encapsulation of; A representative example; The height; the best; A brief summary" and it's not a common word at all. It's always available when I need a username and I never need to use numbers.

I always thought using the same letter in a name was a good thing - DaddyD, Donny Dong, Ching Chong - yeah you get it:) Besides Chupachups´s are spanish and taste great :upsidedow

Came about when I was 15 years old. I was a little punk rock kid and was singing for a band, had to have a cool band name, everyone did. I don't remember who suggested it and why but I didn't want to take it at first because it sounded too generic and there already was Darby Crash. Maybe they stuck it to me because I'm a fag hag, I dunno...

But yeah, it stuck. Could have been worse, one of our friends got dubbed "Pignuts". Now he's a rock n' roller, cover of rolling stone and shit. Every now and then I'll see an interview where a reporter will find out about it and bring it up, lol. "So, how did you get the name 'Pignuts'?"

I thought for sure you had a dog that just didn't listen to you and you were always like, Baddog, Baddog and one of your friends starting calling you that after that. :)

Mine came from a motorcyle club I used to belong to. I was the smallest guy in the club hence the name halfpint

My nick is dedicated to the coming Apocalypse and effervescent hellfire that is the end of the world in December 2012.

Had the domain Porn.md, which I don't have anymore, and am too lazy to change my nick.

Sarah Designs sounded silly. Z's really stick in your mind, I only know a few words starting with a Z. So I went with Zuzana Designs. I saw a model on flirt4free named Zuzana and I loved it!

I remember him from one of the first Webmaster Boards back in 97' 98ish. Just brought back some memories.

Some had harleys other members had rice rockets and I had both a rice rocket and a british trike at the time .. Those were the fun days though.. The club has since moved on to become a back patch MC as it was an MCC side patch club when I was a member.

Back in the day 10 plus years ago I had a few sites on MSN and yahoo and went by the nick.kinda common nic really

I havent ridden for over a year now but I still see some of the members from the old days and they keep on telling me to buy another bike which I most prob will do in the summer time.

I really liked that movie The Princess Bride, and I was trying to think of a clever nickname inspired by the guy named Enigo Montoya ("My name is Enigo Montoya, you killed my father...")

I just added an X to Enigo. :)

Thanks, the last bike I owned was a Kawasaki LTD 750 which was a Canadian or US Import I think.

The trike was originally built for a biker that had MS but he found the foot pedals to hard to use. It was built from a 850cc Robin Reliant from these guys http://www.nabd.org.uk/


It was real fun in the summer and when we went on Rallies and I would end up carring a lot of the clubs gear. But if it rained it was terrrible to ride because you are lower than a bike and did not have to wear a lid with it, you would get all the spray in your face from other vechicles on the road.

Mine is a no-brainer as well for those that know about the Norse history and mythos.

A friend of my family first called me Loki when I was around 7 or 8 years old (I was a mischievous little shit lol. the name stuck, as I grew older I learned more about the norse gods, and the mythos and I thought the name really fit half of my personality pretty well and so I use the name to this day.

The VDC that prefixes my name stood for my original toon program / company V1rtual Desires Cash.

I would have just used Loki but cyndalie's husband already had Loki registered, he's retired years back but I'm just to lazy to get ahold of all the board owners to get my nick shortened to my real nickname lol
