I had a vice principal threaten to suspend me in 6th grade for e-bullying another student over AOL IM.

My mom called her about 5 minutes after I got home and chewed her out. She told the VP that she was wasting my time pulling me out of class to yell at me for something that had nothing to do with school LOL.

That's just fucking outrageous though. You know they're doing inappropriate shit while watching those cameras.

They better fire every single person who OK'd that and/or knew it was happening and didn't tell the parents. WTF is wrong with these people??

They're recording images of underage children without parental consent, undressing in there bedrooms?

Read something similar the other day, honor student, a senior forced off the basketball team, principal said he could punish him for something that happened over the summer but told him he would be making a recommendation to the coach that he be removed from the basketball team.. Was for something stupid and COMPLETELY unrelated to school.

somewhat related, a 12 YR OLDwas ARRESTED(handcuffed and taken to the police dept.) for doodling on a desk in a NY school, she wrote "I love my friends ...." Arrested? For writing on a desk, if I was still in school I would be screwed!

I agree. A school can't discipline a student for something the student did at home.

Unless, the student did a crime against the school while home.

Let's say the student goes home and writes a letter which is all lies. A letter that says a teacher raped a student (but the teacher did not really rape the student). Could the school punish the student for the lie?

What parents would openly allow their kids' schools to spy on their kids and even them within their homes?

The fact that there's a class-action lawsuit for this would show the opposite of what you're saying in this case.

This shit was bound to happen. My school would suspend kids for doing things on weekends OFF school grounds. They government owns your children, people start standing up for their rights now or they will be forever lost.
