MGP - movies?
 

Ok, granted ive been doing gallery submissions for what seems like forever, i have never once tried movie galleries.


How are the convertions?


I would think you would use a hell of alot more bandwidth for roughly the same ratio's, is this true?

what's your gallery ratio right now? (signups vs. unqiues to gallery)

good question, i should have noted this in my above post ...

Not sure about signups vs clicks on gallery, but as for the sponsor goes, im getting near 1:2100

so thats 1 signup out of every 2100 people that click through to the sponsor.


sometimes im as low as 1:1450 or so, but right now its 1:2100

you should track your signups vs. gallery uniques. Tour ratios are wacky because a. you can have a bad gallery design b. you can have misleading text on the gallery (ie . click here for more free shit will get you high CTR) c. different sponsors count click/uniques 'differently'.

So if you go 100k to your gallery from thehun and made 10 sales... you are doing 1:10,000 on the gallery.

i wish i had a system down to keep track of this stuff, paycounter doesnt give me much info, and the sponsor doesnt usually tell me which gallery is sending the signup.


last time i got on thehun, i got 220k hits, and 3 signups .... i guess that looks bad? lol

I could tell you that I sell $39.99 memberships with a 1 of 20 first page raw ratio from MGP traffic, but that's no use to you until you try it for yourself and find that you're selling $1.95 memberships at 1 of 800 join page uniques... in short, I wouldn't put dog shit in my mouth just because some guy told me it tasted great. ;-)

So rather than spending tomorrow on whatever you were going to spend it on... make some movie galleries and judge the results for yourself. ;-)

It also depends on which sponsor you're using & what works well w/ that sponsor. I have one sponsor I do MUCH better with doing pure pic galleries & another pure movie galleries. A friend of mine does much better doing mixed galleries. So, for me at least, it's all about how you present it.
