Godaddy is down. I need to register a domain. Who do you recommend?

I recommend refreshing after 5 minutes. Domains are their bread and butter and I don't expect their website to be down for very long.

GoDaddy is fine.... but if you want something with privacy then they probably aren't the best choice. But if you don't care, they are the cheapest, period. There is ALWAYS a coupon you can use to get $6.99 domains or whatnot... :2 cents:

I've never seen godaddy gone for long and lord knows they probably get attacked plenty. Give em a few minutes. I wouldn't go running off to their competitors for a short outage.

I've had great success with Moniker.

They are only 20 cents cheaper then moniker,and on moniker when domain expire it still working while on godaddy go instantly to parking page.

Moniker is about a $1.50 cheaper than namecheap for bare bones reg.

$8.02 to $9.69 or so.

Been moving to Moniker the last couple months and very happy with everything.

Godaddy is just fine for me!
