I just had cybersex for several hours in an online roleplaying game. It's a game in which about 60% of the players are rl women. The character I had cybersex with was, ofcourse, a female one.
Now, does anyone have any guesses about what the chances are that I just had cybersex (very good cybersex, I might add) with a man?
My guess is that chances are about 50/50, any other guesses?

Now, why would this, which is essentially no different from an interactive story, be different? I certainly have no intent of meeting up with whoever it is, so to me, it is nothing else than a story...

As someone who met her husband in an online ropleplaying game, and knew many other people around me playing the same and similar games I can tell you this. Most men who play MUDS and the like have more than one character and at least one is female. The probability that you've just had cybersex with a man is probably more like 65% as there are more men playing than women.

This is actually about the only MUD in the world with more female than male players, <a href="http://www.threshold-rpg.com">Threshold</a>. The only problem now, is that my girlfriend also plays it, and it tends to be a rather gossippy MUD :helpme

Oh, and since this particular MUD has the admin from hell, and a second character would set you back about $650, there are considerably less second characters in there :)
