Drop shipping in California....sales tax question

So lets say an online company in Nevada sells a product to a customer in California. The product gets shipped from a drop shipper inside of California. By law does that drop shipper have to collect sales tax or make sure sales tax is being paid?

Can the state of California do anything to the Nevada corp if they find out there is no sales tax being collected on good shipped within the state?

Thats a damn good question.

I have a biz in Arizona and dropship out of Florida. I only charge Arizona customers sales tax.

I'd like to know the answer too.

Does your shipper in Florida charging sales tax to you? I guess not. So Florida has never came after them for making sure tax is being collected.

No, the dropshipper has never charged me sales tax not even on orders shipped to Florida.

I would expect my drop shipper to be telling me the answers to questions like this. if they can't, you might want to find a new drop shipper.
