Anyone here use IdentityGuard or Lifelock?
 

You probably hear these commercials often. Anyone use this? Do they keep you safe? Worth it?

I dunno but I hope the suckers that pay for it, have benefitted from it.

Also, have any of you noticed EPass is pushing LifeLock HARD? I mean, damn, they only need a couple links, but to have links on every page all of the sudden. Are they having money problems and need commission from lifelock or is it just a casual helpful thing for us customers?

Actually, this is what reminded of those services when I logged into ePassporte today and wondered if they work or help.

Don't waste your money. They don't do anything for you that you can't do yourself for free.

Every 90 days you can call and set a fraud alert on your account. That's what they do but charge you $10 a month.

Exactly. It amazes me the number of services that have carved a niche out for themselves that basically just trick people into thinking they're doing something they can't do on their own.

Their marketing is good, but the reality is they really don't protect shit. Do some google fu on them, total scam. :2 cents:
