Banned TGP Domains/Email/url addresses
 

I know some of you guys were interested in lists of people who are banned from posting links to TGP sites and what not.

Here are a list of my bans for you guys to do with them as you please.

Banned Host Names - Generally Abusive domains/scams

Banned Emails - People who tend to use different ISP services for providing links but use the same email when posting.

Banned URLS: URls which get are banned because of popups and other sneaky shit.

(just implemented, wont be long before it gets some urls listed im sure.)

If anyone has lists which they update on a regular basis i would be willing to set something up so they could post their list into this db for everyone else to us.

Kind of like a well ran current/active blacklist.

Spending your time on a list like that is sure to make you money:1orglaugh

I dont spend any time on it other than going through my TGP posts and weeding out the crap, and even still i have filters in place to stop most of the shit that does come in but some do slip.

The lists are created by the server everynight and doesnt need me to do it.

Besides, for the amount of time this could save some people who like to keep their lists clean it's worth it to write the program to create the lists (took me 5 mins).

The problem with a list like this is that you could have a personnal problem with a site and put it on this list to get them blacklisted on other people that are using your list. The idea has been done before, but there are many faults to sharing a blacklist. Lets say I show some people my blacklist, but I add your domains to it??....see my point. I commend your efforts, but there is more bad then good that can happen when sharing a blacklist with the general webmaster population.

The one way to solve it would to have a couple different people moderate the list then talk it over should conflicts arise out of it. I think it would be interesting, almost like a google directory would be pretty cool ;)
