How do you promote cams.. actually make sales.. and not get fucked
 

We all know that A** will fuck you at every turn, (either never giving, or taking things away after the fact) but then this one guy posts recently about this other (much smaller) program taking HIS revshare.. Is that going to become more common?

How do you know that cam programs aren't shaving you when you take PPS?
How do they pay so much on revshare, anyway?

After you pay the models, the processors, the designers/programmers.... how the hell is there 25% and more left for the affiliate? Or is it 25% AFTER all of that is paid? That can't be.. What, are they pooling models at some model center... LoL over here.. that'd actually make sense, if they were. Like a service bureau with cameras :1orglaugh

If the two biggest.. AW* and CAM*.com do anything they possibly can to fuck you.. then... how do you know they aren't shaving? You big guys just split test and send to the lesser of the evils, is that it? Whoever pays most for the traffic? And you don't really worry about the %ages, $PPS?? I mean, all you want from your stats area is the $ payout and you do stats from your end of things, is that what it is?

Cams are easier to promote than most people think.

ive never really had any luck pushing cams. did for a while on revshare, then ended up getting huge chargebacks and lost a ton of revenue

Actually nobody knows will he be shaved or not. And the very same thing can be said about any program, not only cams. That depends on your luck mostly i guess:)

Last year, cam was IT for me... So far, not so much! I barely can reach payout for each period on some programs... :(

cams sell great because the girls are right there and you dont have to prove that htey're real. BUT it's hard to find a good cam company anymore. Sigh!

You really never know if any program is shaving you or not unless you get 100% access to their back end. People can try to do "tests" but what if they shave like 5%of the time, or just on certain days they shave you a little, etc... you wont catch it with a couple tests.

Then there is unintential shaving: traffic leaks, messed up code, cookies not being set etc....


You just got to try out a bunch of sites, see what works the best for you, and try to use feedback from others (good or bad) about different companies and factor that into your decission.
