You keep forgetting stuff? 9 ways to improve your memory

Having a good memory boosts productivity. That's a fact. Here's 9 ways to improve your memory http://ravivora.com/blog/unusual-and...ve-your-memory

Is there a way to unsend an email you just sent from your porn email address to your father because you forgot what email you had open?

Memorize license plates. - this is hard to do.

How can you remember something like BHKD 456, JKWG 175, TYAV 11, etc.

It's nearly impossible, isn't it.

From my past experiences, I can say this:

Sometimes in life I become very alert in important situations. This is where the short term and long term memory kick in.

Let's say you get a death threat from someone who says, "I wanna kill you." - You're gonna remember it for the rest of your life, right?

Another thing - weed and marijuana erase short term memory.

some good info there :thumbsup

Number 4 is kind of stupid, considering you could get killed by doing it.

One thing I've found is my retention is better if I do something directly before going to sleep. If I'm having trouble learning a tricky part of a song on guitar, I run through it over and over before going to bed. The next day it seems easy.

The rule of 3. Repeat whatever it is you want to remember three times. If you’re just meeting a person say, “Robert, hello. It’s nice to meet you, Robert, I’ve heard so much about you. Tell me Robert, what do you do for a living?”
At which point Robert asks 'Are you taking the piss out of my name, or are you simply retarded?'

I fully believe that whenever a new person tells you their name to use it back at the immediately... That DOES work... But three times? Nahh...

haha this isn't that hard to do these days! especially if your contacting each other via msn or instant messenger of some kind.. Everyone has handles so if you don't use their name often at first or lose your history it can slip from memory! thank god for facebook.. :)

Mulva???
