Private TGP Question
 

I have a private TGP that I feed traffic from my LL sites.

I have 4 days of updates with 4 new galleries/day using 150 x 100 sized thumbnail previews of each gallery. They are all hosted movie galleries.

The site is ultra clean - other than the thumb links to the movie galleries, I have 2 big text links for bookmarking the site.

My question is should I put any banners or text links to sponsors above and below the thumbs or just leave it blank and let surfers get sold in the hosted galleries?

I am opening the galleries in a new window so when they close the galleries there isn't much to see but more gallery thumb links and I was thinking maybe I should put some ads - so if theat is the best thing to do then should they be ads for the same programs being promoted in the hosted galleries or completely different sponsors/sites?

Theres no money in tgp's,...try something else....the market is oversaturated.

It really depends on the look of the page. To me, a banner or text link has to be in the right place. Meaning it shouldn't look like it's obtrusive, out of place. It should also be noticed though. It's a tough balance. You have to test it out. Make sure that when a surfer views your site, their eyes flow well and they do see the banner, but they don't think "This is another amateur slapping banners all over the place"

Thanks MacAttack - the point here is that I don't NEED banners or text links because all the galleries are hosted galleries - BUT I don't want to lose any sales so would it ake sense to advertise the same sponsors that are in the hosted galleries on the tgp itself?

Whatever you do, you're better off putting a non-standard ad in that space than a regular pornsite banner. Try penis enlargement, dating/personals, an e-mail collection box, or VHS/DVD videos.
