I just went to Blockbuster to rent Mechassault cause gamepost said it was the best game this year and I used to love playing mech warrior, but it was all rented out. So I just bought the damn thing. Hope it's worth it :)

Still nothing can beat Halo.

Splinter Cell kicks ass..

I rented it and finished it in a couple of days. Good game. The online XBox Live shit is supposed to be the best part of it though.

Contrasted with "Dead to Rights" - which LOOKS great, and should be great, but is hard as hell only because of the controls. Put that game on a PC with decent camera control and configurable controls (mouse/kb) - and you could finish it in no time.. As it is, it's the classic console shooter - hard as fucking hell because of the shit controls. Grr.

I played dead to rights for a couple hours then got bored. You're right about the controls.. they piss me off :)

I think Halo is a great game .. is it compatible with X-Box live? I haven't touched that console in awhile so I'm not really sure. I've personally been hooked on my Gamecube, Nintendo is coming back with some really solid titles in my opinion. I hope they release a new Punchout type game.

I'm used to Goldeneye/Perfect Dark on N64, and I can't control the fuck in Halo...

I'd make a killing with a mouse and keyboard though...

I just got Mortal Kombat a few days ago. It is fuckinG AWESOME. Its best if you got some friends to play against, but the single player shit holds up - and it has training shit to get you good with all the peoples... and over 600 'koffins' to unlock which have extra shit (characters, costumes, vids, etc)

I hear you on the mouse and keyboard scenario. I don't know how anybody can control a FPS on a console. I kick ass on the PC and then go heads up with peeps on a console and get fragged all day long:mad: Halo was slick though. I'm out, going back to play some more NHL2003 on the PS2 right now.

Goldeneye/Perfect Dark on N64 have the best controls! As good as counter-strike or any PC FPS! Damn I miss my N64... :(

Is it actually possible to play Halo with a keyboard and mouse? Halo is being release for PC soon anyways... But I still own the Xbox version :)

I was going to buy Mortal Kombat until I saw it is not LIVE enabled. Fuck that. Non-LIVE games fucking blow.

I just popped the cherry on Mech Assault and am loving it. I am going to try online play soon.

Is FIFA live enabled? I love soccer.

I am waiting for a good live enabled golf game.

Xbox 2 will be out before PS3. MS is working hard on it. Wish they would work hard on getting more than a handful of games out for the system we already have.

My FAVORITE game on X has to be NBA Live 03. NFL Fever is fun too.

Now, if Project Gotham 2 is live enabled with racing for pink slips as rumored, that will be the shizzy.

Oh and if Steel Battalion was live enabled, I would have payed $200 for it no problem.

Screw XBOX 2. I got XBOX1 before I bought a new computer. Its a world of difference, games on XBOX comapred to games on a 2.5ghz 1gbrdram geforce 4ti 4600 setup - and I will be the first in line for the Geforece FX or maybe the ATI joint coming out after to trump it. Whatever, but the XBOX is cool when you got people over (not like you can have multiuplayer with friends over on the pc)/


PGR2 would be awesome, and would make me get xbox live - but for now I dont got it cuz all my multiplayer is on pc, but my pc dont got any worthy multiplayer car racing games.

Yea, a console can not compare to the PC (fuck, I lost like 18 months of my life playing Asherons Call haha)

But, I get sick of being on the computer so the Xbox is perfect. PS2 is 'ok' as well.

I may get MK. I just did not a re-hash of the previous ones which I played to death :)

Blood Rayne is a cool game. Max Payne is along similar lines. The best has to be Halo and I have heard very good things about Splinter Cell.
