recommend a digital camera for me

Nikon D90

another vote for nikon d90 or canon 7d
24-70mm and 70-200 mm lens

I'm shopping for my first one too. I'm leaning towards the D90.

I have a Nikon D50, it's pretty good, but there are better models in the D range now. Like the D80 and D90.

recently got D90. its an amazing piece of equipment. excellent quality images

I'd go with a Canon..

Also, do you want it to shoot video as well or just stills?

Canon Rebel has been a blast.

Nikon d90 for sure :)
