Is there any worse carrier than Sprint?

Their outsourcing has killed their customer service. I can't get anything done with these people. The more I try to get problems fixed the more problems are created. Hours wasted on the phone. Just crazy.

Should I go ATT? Verizon? My girl has T Mobile and never seems to have problems but as I remember they don't actually own their towers (I could be wrong). I will need a mobile laptop card as well.

I have been with Sprint for years, and couldn't be happier. When you call customer service ask for the retentions department, especially if you are considering closing your account.

I may be wrong, but I believe Tmobile is owned by Sprint..

It's Nextel that's owned by Sprint and it has equally shitty service....Try to travel out of the country with Nextel and you're assed out.

T-Mobile is not owned by sprint.

T-Mobile also owns their towers. They had an agreement with Cingular in California to share some towers, but I believe that they now own the towers in California as well.

I've been dealing with Sprint Customer Service today and haven't spoken to a single person who has been outsourced out of the country. They're sending me a new phone even though they didn't have to.

I don't get dropped calls like my ATT using family members either.

Their low rates and restrictions rock as well. I don't think I'd be happier on any of the other carriers.

I sold sprint pcs phones when they were BRAND new on the market. The original qualcomm phones. Every store got a phone activated so we could demonstrate them to customers.

Nine years after I'd left the company, my mother had a stroke and I checked my credit report so I could start the process of buying a home so that a brother and I could care for her properly. Found something about a collection agency on there, which after contacting them they claimed was $9 bill owed to sprint pcs. Mind you, I'd never had a phone with them. Only my store had one. I called sprint pcs and explained everything in entirety and they claimed that the bill was for the stores phone which came to the store "in care of" my name. I went up one side of them and down another, including sprint and radioshack where I'd managed stores. Nobody would do one motherfucking thing about it, so I paid the motherfuckers $9.

My mother died the morning I met the realtor to look at the first house.

Sprint still gives me free long distance because that was a deal they had with store managers. I wont ever tell them I dont work there anymore, and they can go fuck themselves.

T-Mobile and Cingular shared towers in California (and New York I think) for quite a while. TMO bought the towers around 2007 or so.

AT&T sucks ass. Can't tell you how many times I've been shooting smack dab in the middle of Los fucking Angeles and everybody in the house with AT&T had no service, everyone with everything else... full bars. I need to jb my iphone

I have been with nextel and then sprint since 1997 or so.

Recently i gave up with sprint after my HTC touch got ran over and they tried to screw me with my insurance then sent me 3 reconditioned piece of shit Chinese phones.

I wasted probably 12 hours if not more on the phone over a weeks time. (to no avail)

Finally I just said fuck it and quit paying them.

Now I'm currently going round and round with their collection agency called RPM, and they keep asking me what it will take to get me back.

I told them it will be a cold day in hell before I ever go back. and I also tell them that my wife canceled her sprint acct also, (and they keep billing her)

They have a hell of a scam going if you ever try to leave. (even though both our contracts were up)

They threaten to turn it in to my credit report if i don't pay. (like extortion tactics)

I just tell them go ahead, I don't give a fuuuuck what they do.

Hell would have to freeze over before I give them a dime.

It's funny because each day someone new calls me, and says wow, i have a huge file with all kinds of notes in it, lol.

If I feel like venting some I'll answer the call. lol

Bottom line, I wouldn't use Sprint ever.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, maybe I have just been lucky when dealing with them :disgust

If you have been a long time customer you don't usually get the call center in. I on some special thing where it puts me with their US call center automaticly

att is a disaster as well, (in NYC atleast) iphone data traffic has killed there network. Verizon is still the best carrier in my opinion.

I have had Sprint and like them. Where my house it located it is kind of a dead zone for cell phones and Sprint's service is the only one I get good reception with. I used to have t-mobile but had connection issues and the overbilled me on a regular basis. At the end of the year I added it up and they billed me 14 times in 12 months, but insisted that they hadn't.

This has been my experience exactly!!!

I have been a Nextel and then Sprint customer since 1998 and I am very happy with Sprint nowadays. The cell service is great all the places I have been all over North America. I also get fast data service for mobile internet browsing. I am about to upgrade to the Samsung Moment Android based smart phone which I checked out in a local Sprint store yesterday and thought was really cool.
