there's all kinds of drive ports and expansion slots on my desktop pc

what kind of cool stuff can I add to my PC...

all i have is a video card and a card to add firewire...

what's cool out there to add to all these empty slots?

There are all sorts of fan controllers and temperature and rpm monitors you can put in unused drive bays.

Those are cool if you're 16 years old.

Creative X-Fi soundcard. Turn that crystalizer up and crank some tunes.

I know you think that your onboard sound is 'good enough', and you are probably right if you have some shitty speakers. But decent sound card is like taking a tin can off your ears, especially if you have some halfway decent speakers/headphones.

did you build it from scratch or iis it one of those prebuilt machines?

your expansion options are limited if its a Dell or something along those lines.
