there wher some laws in Europe during the middle ages, i forgot how it's been called?

Religion is a good thing in that it makes things more peaceful.

Imagine there was civil unrest and everybody started stealing, looting and killing each other? What would you do then? That's why religion says, "don't kill, don't steal."

On another note:

Profanity and Blasphemy are different things.

1) Profanity - would be saying "fuck" / "shit" / "slut" , etc.

2) Blasphemy is going against the word of God and saying things such as, "Steal!! Loot!! Kill!! Murder!!"

During biblical times and during our modern times, there is killing everyday and stealing every day.

Therefore, religion is a fail.

Religon has caused more wars and death than it has stopped.
