Eric is violating rule #2 with his large text.
Signature rules. Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of default size and color. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Yes there is a reason this is so big. Also putting your text in a cell and making it look like a button is against the rules. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.Comment

You may want to change the link on GFY Rules in the menu bar to the new rules...
Some of the rules seem rather arbitrary/ambiguous. Such as not posting links to other boards with the "intent of stealing members".
This can be interpreted to mean that as long as the "intent" is not to steal members (whatever "stealing members" means), then it is okay to post links to other boards to make members of this board aware of an important issue or a good debate going on elsewhere.
Likewise, by your wording it can be construed that it is okay to harass and verbally abuse other members, but that one must not "excessively" harass another "single member".
So does that mean that it's okay to harass married members, or it's okay to harass everyone, as long as you do not single out just one solitary person for harassment?
For not moving off of a porch at a friends house he had been invited to, this 14 year old kid was beaten and choked by the police:
The police routinely claim that such acts are justified and are not excessive.
Anyway, I've never been banned before, and I hope never to be, I just wanted to point out that some of the rules seem poorly worded, vague, and open to interpretation.

Could be because some people could say that "Go fuck yourself" is harassment/abuse. And if we can't say that to people, we may as well rename this place GoBuyYourselfACake.com.

The rules may seem vague and open to interpretation, and that is intentional. If you think something is crossing the line I would suggest you do not post it. With multiple options available at any and every choice we make, I would suggest to all that they try and use some level of wisdom. When they can not do that, we will do it for them.No OneComment
