Lest Coca-Cola get free advertising without criticism, let?s not forget that the company hires paramilitary death squads to intimidate union organizers in Colombia, often leading to their abduction, torture and sometimes even murder.

Maybe they could help out with our tube site problem:winkwink:

BillyHoe 01-28-2010 10:16 PM

NoScript generally doesn't block CSS... you have yours turned up to Panic Mode, because mine didn't even burp. Cool effect :)

I bet you think he did this with CSS that was invented yesterday right?

No, you're looking at technology that is as old as the internet. It's just for whatever reason tables took over and web code technologies took off in the complete opposite direction.

Now, at this point. We're going BACKWARDS to technologies available ten fucking years ago to make websites.

Same thing with flash, but I doubt many here even know what I'm saying. :Oh crap

That reason is that table designs for layout had a consistent look across the major browsers. Not so with CSS. It's what worked and so that's what people used.

The CSS1 spec was published in December 1996. Nice try though.

Yes I was looking at rolling Coke cans in CSS on the internet in 1969 :upsidedow:upsidedow

Or did you think the internet was invented in the 1990s? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Note to CYF: Don't take terms like "old as the internet" as literal terms. Instead when present, take terms like "decade" as a literal term, since it is an actual measurement.

:thumbsup
