Would you spend $160 on a pair of jeans?
 

Diesel's are the only jeans that actually fit me but they're like $160 for a pair.

I felt like a retard when I told the clerk that I didn't want to spend that much on a pair of jeans. Is that normal to spend on jeans these days?

Go to Walmart.

Every time I buy D & G or JPG I spend at least that much...

when i go buy pants, i want to buy *nice* pants... unfortunately chances are 95% that if i like pants they're also damn expensive... still buy them though, better to have pants that i really like but pay a lot than pay little but don't like the product you bought... :2 cents:

It's really relevant to your income. Diesel attracts a certain type of person. Personally, I like diesel clothes, Love the shoes, like the jeans, its' all good. But you can buy some decent pairs that have the same style for much less.

But $160 is pretty standard. It's a killer when you know what the cost of manufacturing is! I won't even tell you that! hehehe, but look for some discounts. Friend of mine found Diesel stuff at a store called Winners, which is full of stuff that is name brand but gets returned cause it didn't completely sell through.

My father had the rights to Jordache for Dress Mfg. when that whole Jordache Jeans craze started which was the first designer jeans gimmick. We sold $6 Mil of Jordache Dresses to dept. stores from our LA Apparel Mart showroom, but they languished in the stores at their crazy ass Logo based prices, so the 2nd season was the pits. But that first season was sweet.

The only difference in high end jeans is a bit more design work, and better quality stitching, besides that denim is denim and people are getting ripped paying $160 to have someones name on their ass.

It's hard for me to find jeans -- right now I wear Levis Silvertab, Ralph Lauren... and I have Ecko... nothing 2 fancy -- i don't like intrusive logos -- but I go for interesting stitching -- I've tried on $60+ jeans, but so far the fit/quality has not impressed me enough to justify the expense.

really weird.... a couple days before you posted that blood for blood mp3 in the metal thread Labret, I saw them listed somewhere online, I swear it was on ticketmaster as an opening band for a Supersuckers show we almost went to.

But I mentioned it to Fletch before the show date, and said blood for blood has to be cool with a name like that. And then you posted that mp3 a few days later and I recalled the name.

But when I search, I cannot fucking find where I saw them listed for a show in LA. I figure maybe the current band with that name was originally listed on ticketmaster for the show, but was changed.

Dark Paramount I think its their only release. Brazilian Black metal, Im not sure what I like about it, but I do. Alot. Its in Spanish and English, but you'll never know. I got no idea what this fucking guy is saying. If the little Golem guy from Lord of the Rings II sang in a band, this is him. Production is lacking, but I think thats why I like it. Caroline hates it, but that means its good.

And ticketmaster doesn't let you search past shows. So far as I can tell. This has been driving me nuts.

I must be really uncool... I have never heard of Diesel Jeans or clothes.
