SANTA ANA ? Santa Ana police today arrested a man who they say was sitting on the roof of a stranger's home without pants, officials said.

A man driving on the 5 freeway about 11:45 a.m. today saw a man without pants performing a sex act on the roof of the driver's home and called police, said Santa Ana police Cmdr. Jeff Owens. Officers came to the home in the 2000 block of North Bush Street and the man ran away, still without his pants, Owens said.

Officers found the man hiding in the closet of another stranger's home in the same block, Owens said. The man, whom police have not identified, was arrested on suspicion of prowling, indecent exposure and resisting arrest.
