xbox live question
 

Ok, for anyone who has xbox live, i got it yesterday and cant seem to talk on it. I can hear fine, but nobody can hear me. Am i suppose to do something to make it work?

Try holding the black button on your controller when you talk if that does not work your unit might be defective.

make sure that the green light is on for the communicator. if it is and you still have problems take it back

Your control might be set on mute. Make sure the light is green and not red. You dont have to push anything to talk.

I kick ass in mech assault

I thought it was the white button?

Anyway, you have to hold down either the black or white button to talk. Also, there is a button on your headset that turns the indicator light to green or red. If it is on red, your voice is inactivated.

There is also a setting in your main "settings" area for xbox live that turns your sound on or off. Make sure that is set to on. It is defaulted to "on", but you may have switched it during setup.

In mechassault you can talk at anytime - no need to hit white or black buttons.

just make sure your unit green and not red..
