Will Ferrell plays Skynyrd "Free as a Bird" on last Conan show
This is fucking great.
|
Watched last night and that was very cool :thumbsup
I also liked when Conan sincerely said He was grateful to NBC for all they have done for him over the years. How happy he was to have had the opportunity to do all that he has done and how he's looking forward to whatever the future holds for him. He also gave thanks to his fans and the staff that helped make him what he became. His statement came from the heart and although he may be disappointed with the way things turned out he understands why, holds no ill feelings and is grateful for what he's had. In other words, he took it like a man. |
You can tell in his speech at the start of this video he is almost in tears. He should thank NBC. They made him into a multimillionaire.

Will was molesting that model. lol.
|
While not a fan, the opening speech was very nice.

On a side note, my first concert was Lynyrd Skynyrd and Atlanta Rhythm Section at the Miami Jai-Alai Fronton in 1976 and it's still one of my favorites.:thumbsup |

Yea it was awesome Danny...err I mean Supz. I think he did an okay job actually. Conan was sharing the lead guitar also...he was good. A lot of people don't know but Conan is a pretty good guitarist. Beck kinda looked confused for most of the tune, was pretty funny. Good way to end the show though. :thumbsup

It should also be noted that Will Ferrell was Conan's very first guest on the Tonight show so he let him close the show as well. Who cares if it didn't sound great. It never was supposed to or they would've got a better lead singer. It was Conan ending the show's run jamming with his friends and music idols playing what is probably one of his favorite songs. |

I loved it. Will's a comedian, not a singer. It was a great end to Conan's Tonight Show.
