Invest in your own private garage - screw the alarm. My truck was hit in by pros the police said.. lifted from my drive way with me in the house - top alarm on the market at the time - it never went off. They took it and stripped it down and gave the truck back a few weeks later, parked it on the side of the road, gave it trailer rims, jump steering wheel and a pretty much shelled out truck.

If you want to protect your shit, put it in your house with your guns - and alarm your house so the police show up.

That just blows. Make sure that the shop that fixes it does a perfect job, otherwise every time you look at the centre console and see a dent or scratch it will remind you of what some fuckhead did and totally ruin your enjoyment of the car.

broken glass is classless... used to only happen to BMWs in california (bmw = break my windows) now they're doing it to Vws. probably a druggie, a pro would have crawled underneath, clipped a battery cable to kill the alarm and then slim jimmed it. on the bright side passenger door glass is not too expensive and simple to replace yourself.

my miata was broken into once in canada, stole some condoms and all my change. i didnt feel so bad though cause they hit every car on my street that night. since then i just leave them all unlocked and dont look back. good lookin out man sorry to hear ur misfortune
