shoes and pedal don't come with it, you have to pick the ones that fit you best.

I got shimanu altegra pedels and Specialized "s-work" shoes.

Now that's awesome too, can't imagine having that much travel. I started in MTB and still ride an old tricked out rockhopper hard tail. Sort of wish I had a 29-er though!

That's my next step.

I started with the mighty BMX, then moved to the mountain bike and it's definitely way more fun tat riding our bikes.

Although it's a good feeling when you ride fast on an open road!

nice, hard tails rule in the burms (can't be beat). but you can't beat a full-on downhill bike for everything else a downhill bike park throws at you.

for sure. my girl does some road action, and loves it. the main pain in the ass with the big bikes is they: a) weigh a freaking ton and b) the suspension sucks up half the energy whenever you need to pedal uphill. i bike in uphill from where i live to the whistler bike park everyday in the summer, and woah, it keeps you in shape lol.

anyone ride cruisers/town bikes just for fun? i can't find a picture of mine, but this is what i have: http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-us/...er/3912/36613/

some might say there are a bit ghey, but i love it, even though it's about as non-functional as it gets. looks cool though, and super comfy.

weekly 01-23-2010 04:17 PM

what a cool ride...you got the Darth Vader armor too?

LoveSandra 01-25-2010 02:04 AM

mynameisjim 01-25-2010 02:44 AM

Nice bike :thumbsup

I raced a Felt Sector 24 the first year they started making bikes, sometime around 2000, I forget the exact year.

Cool to see how much they've grown since then.
