Im So Fucked Up. Real Real Bad...
 

I just got out of Oral surgery and Im fucked up sick.

They had to drill into my fucking head and under gum and bone to chizzle out 4 impacted wisdom teeth which were under nerve and and bone. None of them were exposed, so they had to tear shit up major.

My face looks like I went through prophltic shock, and the Narcotics are 4 times stonger than Vicodin Im on.

Im also on these fuckign steroids, and nausea meds.

Gaod dam im fucked up.

I feel like I just got my assed kicked, drunk, hung over, stoned, and food poinsed, and hit in the head with a hammer all in one.

Yea, had the same thing. It was a bitch. Make sure you do what the doc tells ya to do so it does not get infected.. The last thing you want is Dry Socket. Now that shit is very painful. Hope ya feel better soon man.

I've had 4 impacted Wisdom teeth out [2 at a time] and it hurt like a mofo for first 24 hours. After that though you'll start to feel tons better.

This kind of pain usually lasts 7 to 10 days. In another few days it will get very intense and then gradually die down.

My wisdom teeth were also impacted - they had to chip them out and gave me the pieces afterwards (I put them under my pillow but all I got was a bill from the tooth fairy :mad: )

Hopefully they gave you some medicine to take before the surgery to keep the swelling down AND you took them :winkwink:

Be SURE to keep the new holes you have in your mouth VERY clean (irrigated - if they didn't give you a large syringe to do this with, get one). And ICE PACKS. Get some of the little ones and tie them to your face - trust me on this, it works.

I was bruised all the way down my neck and to my boobs - it looked like someone had beat the crap out of me :(

Same here. It hurt a bit for the few days when the teeth were actually growing but then the pain went away.

No shit. I didn't listen to my dentist when I had two of my wisdom teeth out and I went ahead and smoked even though he told me not to. The clot came out of one of the holes where my tooth had been and I got dry socket. Ain't nothing in the world hurts like having a raw nerve and bone exposed to air -- I seriously thought I was going to die. Then I started worrying that maybe I WASN'T going to die and I'd have to live like that!

Don't drink through a straw, don't smoke, don't suck on hard candies -- do everything your dentist told you to, Bone. I wouldn't wish the hell of dry socket on anybody. Good luck, and enjoy the drugs while you got 'em!

Try a soft diet for a few weeks since your jaw and face muscles are aggravated by the surgery.

Within 6 months of having my wisdom teeth pulled, I ended up with popping of the jaw and found out I had a jaw injury from childhood.. Guess pulling the teeth moved everything enough to set it off..

I had mine pulled when I was 18... they were too big and started to make it hard to open my mouth... they touched in the back.

When they pulled my teeth out, the roots were huge and looked like pincers.. there was actually a little piece of bone inside the roots on every tooth!

I only had local anesthetics (sp?). And my doctor was a little 120 pound chinese man. He had such a hard time ripping my teeth out.

I was lucky tho - was bruised badly but not in much pain at all. 10 days later, everything was healed over :)

Ah -- it's not that bad... I was back eating pizza and drinking beer again 2 days after I got 4 impacted ripped out.

The worst part was waking up right as they cracked the bottom right one in half to get it out. Now that was fun. :winkwink:

oh man, that's got to suck. My g/f had 3 out at once and ended up with dry sockets, too... I remember what hell she had to go through... I feel for you Boneprone. Get rest and before you know it, it'll be next month and you'll have forgotten all about this week.

When I had my wisdom teeth out, my mouth was so bruised, I could not open it to eat.

So I had to re-experience the joys of baby food for about a week.

i had all 4 of mine out they werent impacted so it wasnt that bad
but when i got out and we were driving back i was trying to talk and i started to bleed
all my bf could say was your bleeding on yourself and dont get it on the truck :)

I lucked out, I had my knee scoped on a Wednesday, and my Wisdom Teeth pulled on that Friday, so I was feeling pretty good from my Lortabs from the doctor.

Only time, I felt anything, as the dentist was yanking and cranking on one of my bottom teeth, he hit a nerve, and I grabbed, and pushed down on the armrest of the chair, breaking it. He started laughing, he never had something like that happen to him
