I heard on the radio over the last couple days that Sen. Turd (er, excuse me: Sen. Byrd) of S. Carolina, I think, is/was a KKK member and used the N word three times on a talk show as recently as last year.

I don't agree with him stepping down. But can understand the reason. The republicans need more black vote, and the only way to do it is to kiss their ass a bit.
