"Job" is pretty interesting, but I think I will pass on it for certain reasons. Thanks though!

rowan 01-21-2010 02:10 AM

Is this kind of pricing typical? To make $15 an hour you'd need to write one post per minute, every minute?

GoNe 01-21-2010 03:05 AM

I think you should up your blog post budget. The going rate is $2.50 - $3.00 per blog posts.

these are the people making $15/hour

http://jobs.aol.com/articles/photos/15-hour-jobs/

making blog posts that goes something like "....blonde slut getting assfucked in the pooper by two big cock studs..." working from a remote location can't compare to any of those

Must suck to know nothing and have such little value in your work. I won't even set my alarm to wake up for that little per post... and for .25 cents, do you mean per word?

seeandsee 01-21-2010 04:10 AM

scale it up

ilbb 01-21-2010 05:23 AM

Take or leave the offer on the table. I already have guys creating posts for this price.

Thanks to all who contacted me on icq.

Iron Fist 01-21-2010 05:26 AM

This post cost $0.25

StaceyJo 01-21-2010 05:28 AM

Good for you. :)

CPimp 01-21-2010 05:34 AM

And that's exactly why I declined the work. I'd have to write out 1800 words for what I get paid for 200 words normally, and at that rate I would NEVER make a damn penny working. Going rate $2.50-$3.00 per 200 words? Maybe I need to up my rates hahah. Hmm... I'd have made around a dollar for this post :)

Raf1 01-21-2010 05:39 AM

that is crazy. I feel sorry for the people doing the work for you...

No it's not. I charge $3.00 per 150 to 200 word post. 0.25 would be a gallery description or something. I can't think of anyone that would be crazy enough to do them for .25 cents, unless they consisted of 5 words.

Well, there reason why the price of blog post is around 3-5$ is beacuse this cannot be ordinary full time job, usualy those who need posts order max 10 posts and that's it.

Lace 01-21-2010 08:12 AM

Who the hell would work for 25 cents a post? And just wait until those people writing for you now find out you can make 10x that...LITERALLY.

Yeah, if you were doing nothing and desperate for cash, maybe... but I can't imagine writing 480 blog posts every day just to make an average wage. You'd go mad.

beerptrol 01-21-2010 08:28 AM

Damn! I think even the scrooge paid better

J. Falcon 01-21-2010 08:28 AM

Anybody who works for that amount can't be any good. And I'm sure he or she can't be reliable.

A good blog writer can write 1 post every 10 minutes. So that's 6 posts every hour which gives you a total hourly pay of $18 if you charge $3 / post.

I did say that $0.25 per post is way to low. I hope he was meaning per word but then that would get pretty pricey!

Ayla_SquareTurtle 01-21-2010 01:45 PM

I wouldn't even create a blank MS Word doc for $0.25.
