Is iPhone 3gs the best phone right now?

Depends on your idea of what the best phone is. I had the iPhone for two years and ditched it last year because I think it's a lot of noise about nothing, it's overpriced, and mostly useless techno-junk.
A good phone in my opinion is one that has a good signal in many places and makes & receives clear phone calls, not which one has the best fart app.

Spec-wise, there are a few phones that beat it...two of which are the HTC Nexus One and the Motorola Droid/Milestone.

I know a few people who claim to looooooooove their iphone, yet admit they can hardly make a fucking call on it. Crazy !! :Oh crap

I would make use of whatever phone you have right now and wait until summer. There will probably a new version of the iphone out then.

I like mine, but I have good 3G service here. When I travel I notice that the service is flaky..:disgust The Droid is a nice phone as well.

I never tried it. I have a Nokia cell phone.

I've tried it, but I do prefer my Nokia's. I have a N97 now and I love the keyboard etc on it. :)

Something about them is tempting. The apps are awesome, but I hear for use as an actual phone, they suck. Bad sound, bad signal, etc.

Lately I've been sticking with the Nokia E series phones (biz phones). They're designed for high quality connectivity.

Nothing comes close to the Iphone
