Nicest car around $40k-45k?
 

i currently have a G35 but looking to change, maybe something 4 door and sexy and AS fast as my G35 with usual navi, sat radio, etc

what can you guys recommend thats around $40k

im not really feeling the mercedes e class in that price range..

The G35 was my second choice, I ended up getting the Acura TL. Same price range too.

there are 4 door sexy cars.. example is BMW M5.. sick fucking 4 door car.. one of the fastest 4 door cars in the world

I had an Acura before so the dealer made me a better offer. That and I found the TL was less common so I wanted something a little more unique than the G35/37

yeah the G37 is so so much quicker... but you are right, i hate common cars, i want to stand out.. and the G is everywhere in usa... in california its like having a kia

Fuck I hate rice rockets. Sure...reliable...fast....but fucking boring as snot. No offense, but I hate...hate boring cars. Having said that, my grocery getter is a jetta diesel...
I also drive a 911 for fun...just to set the record straight. But if I was a young guy and wanted to actually stand out in a crowd....and I know this is below the price range here...this is one of my top choices...

i dont like suv's.. if i were to get any bmw itd be the m5, but the price tag is woah... i dont see a point in spending over $40k in a depreciating asset

i dont buy new. i always get a semi used, maybe 5k miles, so its still brand new basically, but always like 10%+ less, example i got my black G35 fully loaded with navi,premium for $28k, the sticker was $41k, but i got it for $28k cause it had 12k miles..

it still had fully warranty, no scratches, drove perfect, one owner(lease)..

its smart to buy used

Lexus IS-F i guess for that price range and a new body car.
Otherwise you can look for a nice Mercedes E55 which for <$45k u will find a really good example of.
It will be faster than your g35.

You could also get a Porsche 911 996 Turbo for around $45K-$50K.

problem is i kinda get tired of 2 doors.. the only way im gonna get another 2 door is if i have a 4 door in addition..

you dont know how much it sucks when you have to haul 5 people total, and your G35 wont fit em.lol

or you have to bend your seat to let people out, etc.. it sucks

but yeah, if you have a 2 door sportcar, you need a 4 door vehicle as well.. you cant haul shit in a 2 door sportscar and asking friends to borrow their cars gets old really fast...

Right now I have a GTR and looking for a daily driver. I go thru new cars all the time though so I'm not a good person to look at.
The <$50K range does not have a lot of *new* special cars. You can get used, last body style for example though.

E55 you can hook up pretty nice with lowering, wheels, power mods and it will be really fast and it can fit 5 people.
You could also bump your budget up to double and go for what I'm looking at -- the Porsche Panamera (but S or 4S for you)

Nice car...but those things just don't stand out in a crowd...at least in Vancouver.

GT-R is nice.. id get it if it were 4 door.. i mean all that power is nice but if you are not on the track, you'll be stuck in like 2nd gear,. i saw the speedo and the 80MPH mark is all the way at the bottom, so you'll feel like you are crawling in normal driving conditions.lol

I dont need a car that fast, i want a car that i can push when i need to, but also comfortable enough to drive daily....

and yeah the 2door shit gets old.. ive been stuck many times when friends needed a ride from a club,etc, and i could only fit 2 in back seat, and the other 2 had to go take a taxi.. those moments wish i had a 4 door..

not many nice looking cars in that $40k range.. look like i'll just end up again with a G37, probably coupe cuz their sedan is fugly...
