its the UN558000 Series.... samsung was sued and cant sell this anymore and they are getting rid of em for real cheap as compared to before they got sued and lost something over a patent...

Hey Juicy, we've had the same TV for a couple of months now. Hook a Blu-Ray player up to it, it's so realistic that it's actually kinda freaky. When it comes to playing blacks/darks I don't think there's a better TV on the market. And the 7,000,000:1 contrast ratio is incredible. I've got a 60" NEC plasma that I paid $20K for that I barely even use since getting the Samsung LED.

This TV blew mmy mind Jake.... i had it rigged up for now till the mount arrives and gets put on the wall but all i gotta say is WOW... just on like SHO or HBO HD you are right on how realistic it is... it is almost scary

the picture and colors are amazing. Samsung display at CES was very impressive.

We've got the LED 46" 6000 series and I fucking love it... best looking television on the market. Wish I had the 55".

CNet has a calibration that I'm using... I think it made a pretty big difference. You should be able to find one for the 8000 as well.

Looks like a pretty nice TV. I've got a 50" Samsung and love it! About 4 years old and still working perfect...knock on wood!
