I think the industry is going to contract to a certain point, then level out. Sure lots of people will be out. But there will always be a for profit industry. Those who make it through, things will level and get better.

I think it will personally get better and better ... as new technology comes around more

On this subject ... the winners who come out will be the one's who play the system right. Just like videogames and movies ... they're doing things that entice people to BUY rather than steal and they're making billions in profit ... they ARE making more money than they're losing ... sure they'd make more if piracy didn't exist, but they are still working it.

Videogames offers exclusive downloadable content and online connections with other players if you buy ... movies has the new 3D shit and extra features etc, which traditional pirate copies just don't have. Lots of people, including me, wont pirate shit because you pay for the stuff you get.

I dunno how porn will survive, but I think tubes will be a part of it ... and I think advertising will be too. Youtube has this cool shit in videos where they've teamed up with the licence holder and anyone who uploads a song that is in the Youtube licence will find an ad for that song/band/tv show etc appear inside the video. It's not too intrusive but allows the licence holder to make a little cash. I mean, that's a basic way of looking at it, but there's gonna be ways that porn makes money like this no doubt.
