Any Flex guru ?

Hi,

I'm new to flex and I'm trying to build a Tree (provided with XMLListCollection data) that enables drag and drop within itself. By that I mean, that any branches or leaves can be drag and dropped anywhere on the tree (including into branches). I also need it to allows the copy (with CTRL key down) or move of multiple selected branches and/or leaves.

I've been looking for a while and can't figure it out. I found pieces of info but somehow they doesn't add up ! Can anyone paste a working example.

Thanks a lot !

I was coding Flex for a few years and have switched completely to Ext JS for things like this, for many reasons including ease of use, and haven't looked back since. Sorry for not posting information you need I just thought maybe you don't know about Ext JS yet. It's worth a look. :2 cents:

Ext JS looks interesting what do you use to code it?

Well, what do I use to code it? WeBuilder is the editor I've been using for the past few years..definitely the very best I've come across in the past decade. Javascript is really all you need to know to use Ext JS...although a scripting language definitely comes in handy...like PHP (my fav). :2 cents:
