What is the psychology behind tattoos?

I love porn and dislike tattoos so I was wondering if someone could explain to me the psychological traits-in-common of a chick that does porn and a chick that gets tattoos. There seems to a heavy overlap.

There are exceptions to every rule. I have no idea who Janine is, but I have turned away a lot of girls with tats that lost a days work. In fact I built an entire website that I had to decide between two girls and the tats made a difference. I paid that girl ten thousand dollars. So, I kind of rest my case.
