Its not very good any more. Use avast instead, free and works great.

Bobbiekey 01-12-2010 05:20 PM

dont surf free porn, cheapest choice

BuggyG 01-12-2010 07:46 PM

use it past couple years.. never had probs with it

Si 01-12-2010 07:50 PM

I have AVG and Norton on here.

Between the 2 of them never had a problem.

Why do I use 2? Norton is better at blocking internet shit and AVG works well for scanning your PC constantly.

AVG is very good and recommended by lots of system experts. Thats on a professional basis. I have had it & it worked fantastic. My family use it of which they are surfers & never had any problems since installing it. :2 cents:

I use the zilla range now. I have mozilla ff, filezilla ftp & stopzilla. Stopzilla is fantastic & comes with a free firewall which works perfect too :thumbsup

I used to love AVG, but I've had enough of it slowing my machine to a crawl. I'm using Avast now, seems to work ok but that voice that announces new updates makes me want to kill stuff.

CYF 01-12-2010 08:53 PM

AVG used to be great, it's been slow lately. I use Avast on my netbook and it works great.

dav3 01-12-2010 10:59 PM

Used AVG, it started to not detect stuff.

Switched to Avira, it was ok but had a lot of false positives.

Then switched to Avast, it's good, not as many false positives but it slows my system down noticeably. It has a great web shield that blocks the shitware you pplz hide on your sites.

Agreed!
ESET NOD32 Antivirus or avas are the best!
If necessary for AVAST, try SN: S6945137R6826L1106-WXH4K1SJ

woj 01-12-2010 11:19 PM

avira :thumbsup

d-null 01-12-2010 11:19 PM

Avast is working great for me :2 cents:

Emil 01-13-2010 03:13 AM

I switched to Avast, it's also free.

Panda Cloud antivirus is also pretty good and free but only works on 32bit systems.

NBBCash Matze 01-13-2010 03:30 AM

never had a big problem with AVG but one time I had a trojan which only Avast found so I switched to Avast.

KILL_FRENZY 01-13-2010 03:46 AM

I heard some are very satisfied with it... I know I got some bugger I didn't even get to know the name of with it. Screwed up all my exe files and was spreading fast; needed a full hard-drive format to get rid of. Kasperky all the way for me :thumbsup

VicD 01-13-2010 03:53 AM

I use it, still waiting for it to catch something :)

bbobby86 01-13-2010 04:04 AM

i use eset nod32...

WoWMediaCash 01-13-2010 04:10 AM

We use AVG internet Security and have done so for years without complaint :)

kane 01-13-2010 04:16 AM

I used to use AVG and still seemed to sometimes get Virus and it seemed to use a lot of system resources. When I got my new machine I did some research and ended up going with Avira. It is about $30 a year and it has worked amazingly for me. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Chosen 01-13-2010 04:21 AM

AVG sucks, try Avast :)

Darrell 01-13-2010 04:40 AM

I use the new free Microsoft Security Essentials. Works great and its free :thumbsup

james_clickmemedia 01-13-2010 05:07 AM

Have avast on a couple of the pc's in the office.

Quagmire 01-13-2010 07:17 AM

Never had a problem with AVG, and in fact it was seamless to install with Windows 7, where Norton was weeks behind on a proper release that worked with it.

bloggerz 01-13-2010 07:52 AM

Been using AVG for years now on one machine and it does the job

StaceyJo 01-13-2010 08:37 AM

Before but been using Avast for years now.

pornguy 01-13-2010 08:44 AM

Using Avast for now.

tranza 01-13-2010 08:53 AM
