I activated BoxTrapper on my personal email account, which utilizes "challenge-response verification" similar to that of Spam Arrest.

BoxTrapper is bundled as part of CPanel, but not sure if exclusive to it. It definitely works, as nearly all of my spam has been eliminated. Cpanel's Boxtrapper documentation is located at http://twiki.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/vi...ocs/BoxTrapper

These are German engineers who offer their services for free as long as it's for personal use.

Simply put you have two email addresses, one that you freely give out to anyone and anytime, that address then forwards the incoming mail to Expurgate, whicj controls each email and wash it from spam and then forwards the real emails to your private or "hidden" email, the one that only expurgate knows about. Takes about 15 minutes to setup and it works like a charm. It's causing a delay in email delivery with less than 5 minutes, so I think it's accetably fast considering it's free for personal use.

I can recommend it, been using it for a while now and is most happy with their services. I hardly ever see any spam emails any longer.
