Accepting PayPal donations for porn forums, tubes, etc allowed?
 

I've seen a few sites that accept PayPal donations but their site is pretty much adult content. Is this a loop hole that PayPal won't do anything about unless someone complains or is it allowed?

I wouldn't recommend it, one complaint and you are done..

They cancelled my account after someone complained over me merely accepting advertising dollars for banner placements on an adult webmaster resource site. (someone from GFY no doubt)

Seriously though, I doubt they ever get people going to a tube site too often that are going to donate. In fact, I bet it has never happened.:winkwink:

It works perfectly until the first transaction arrives and PayPal bans your account.
It works as good as throwing yourself into a pit with hungry crocodiles inside... basically it works ok until you decide to do it :)

I wonder how of some "donate" sites get away with it. I won't post links for obvious reasons but I know one torrent site that accepts donations by paypal and has been doing it for months now,

Paypal will close your account if your site contains adult


What are some alternatives? To make it easy for people to join/donate

Put up a site with your own content instead of trying to rip the rest of us off and profit from it?
