Is there any money in these any more? The member based sites where the amateurs who run it do updates and stay in contact with the members etc. I was thinking about it the other day and how this industry is suffering ... thinking that surely sites that offer real connection with the fans is the way to go. I'm no pro on that subject tho! :)

We have emails from our members every week replying with compliments & notes about what we are shooting. Yes, people love the personal touch. Its great to have contact with people, especially when in camshows with members that obviously want to be there with you!

Do you make enough money from it to make it worthwhile tho? Can't surely be an easy job running the site etc.

I just think it seems like the best way to combat piracy ... you can't steal interaction! Video only gets some guys off to a degree. Some guys need to feel they have some kind of connection with the girl/couple/guy to keep the interest. Or Redtube and the others will end up bookmarked.
