    best tube script for mainstream site

    Starting a mainstream tube site, trying to figure out a good youtube-ish clone, maybe one that allows pic galleries to be uploaded by members too.

    Anyone have experience with mainstream tube sites that has a good player that lets you add banner overlays and stuff?

      Smart Tube Pro can have pic galleries and banner overlay (at least at the end of the video). I bought this myself for a mainstream tube I'm working on

                      I am not trying to push my own product but clipshare's core is a mess.. go for ANY other script but them.

                              With STP you can run a tube/mobile site out of the box, though our next version 1.06 due in a few days will have mobile functionality tweaked.

                                      Don't do it, all their scripts are total shit. The code is fucking horrible too

                                              I have owned rayzz, use it on the first hoodtube
                                              I owned clip-share

                                              Both of them are buggy, but clip-share can be fixed easy and can handle alot of traffic
                                              with rayzz script, membership got up to 120,000 it blew the fuck up

                                              But i heard the light version of rayzz is good

                                                  yeah, I had another thread going about rayzz, seems to be my top pick now, clip-share I've heard is a pile of garbage under the hood from a few php site reviews, also pornhub's coder had a big post about them sucking.

                                                                      When tubes first started, I tried clipshare, then Rayzz and while Rayzz was a whole lot better it is still very poorly written. Trying to template their pile of shit is a shit fight in itself. Their idea of a templating system is heaps of random code dropped all over the place.

                                                                      Updates for Rayzz consist of commenting out old code and adding in new code and a transition from say v2.01 to v2.02 means creating a new database and reinstalling the entire site. Then importing your old data into the new database and every field has changed names.

                                                                      FUCK RAYZZ FAGGOTS!

                                                                      The support is not the greatest either. Any problems are put back on you (seems to be a trait for Indians).

                                                                      Personally I would go for phpmotion (have used it for near on 2 years now without a problem).

                                                                              Yeah first criteria for me to choose a script was support, smart-scripts proved to be always there to fix bugs, help with all questions threw their forum and icq. Thats something to consider. Cant wait until next update to make finaly my mobile tube face. Saw new default skin of stp looks superb.
