Chances Of Recharging 10 year old Laptop Battery?

I just came across my laptop from college. I dont think its been turned on for about 7 years. What are the chances of me recharging the battery in it?

I tried didnt turn on. I heard the fan start but wouldnt boot. Maybe the whole thing is fucked.
