yeah, i don't see how "porn" as a blanket term has to "exploit" anyone in a negative sense. No more than cookies exploit people with a sweet tooth, etc.

There is most certainly exploitive porn...perpetrated by people that prey upon poor, sick, or addicted people, willing to do anything for a dollar.

People (male or female) being degraded and humiliated is almost by definition exploitative, although granted, there are some people with extremely low self-esteem whom are willing to suffer such treatment simply for a paycheck, but it still appears to me as exploitation.

Unfortunately, the adult industry is filled with many people that will openly exploit anyone or commit clear fraud for a dollar.

It is still possible to make honest money creating adult erotica that is non-exploitative, but it is an uphill battle, considering that so many have thrown in the towel with regards to fighting content/copyright piracy, or whom have become the pirates themselves.

It's up to each individual to search their own soul (if they have one), or sense of morality, to determine if they have any compassion towards their fellow human beings, or if they are simply bottom dwellers, out to make money feeding off of the sickest, most despicable qualities in humanity.

We've gone around on this one before. My feelings what is "exploited" to you might not be to the person doing the deed. I don't see how we can judge that for everyone, and we decide what is acceptable and what is exploitation of others we don't know anything about.

I personally look at it like this. If you are of sound mind and you decide to do porn you know what you are getting into. You agree to do certain things in exchange for a certain amount of money. There is no exploitation.

If you agree to one thing then get to the set and get pressured into something else and you are worried about your safety if you don't do it, then I think you have been exploited.

Also, I think people outright lying to someone about an arrangement is exploitation. If a girl works with a guy who says he will make her a site and that site will make her certain amount of money if she just shoots all the content, she does her part, then he doesn't pay her what he promised, that is exploiting her. If a girl tells a guy, "You do this for me and I will go out with you/sleep with you." then after he does what she wants she doesn't follow through, he got exploited.
