up late.

reworking the movies... the site sold but at less than 1/2 ratios of what it should have... hoping the rework of the movie section will bring it up to snuff...

should be done that sometime tomorrow... involved re cutting dozens of movies... ugggg

There aren't many situations where doing something for nothing could pay out more in the long run, but for some designer THIS could be an opportunity to step up to the plate.

Do it for free and I bet you get more in return than the cost of the tour. :winkwink:

what fucking plate are you talking about? The guy wanted the site to be booming, face reality it sucks balls. Me or whoever, make him understand the design hes got is shit unless its meant to be like that.

You are right...he does seem to cut off his nose to spite his face, so to speak.

That said, he has no money to pay for a tour. At least that's what we are lead to believe.

He might not be able to pay cash, but I'm sure what he can offer would be worth more in the long run. This could be a good opportunity for someone, doesn't have to be you. Just someone able to see what they might get from it.

Hell...someone could have already mentioned this to him and his pride just got in the way, who knows.

I could have one of mine do it for free, if I wanted to go that route...but I don't like the guy one bit, so I wouldn't even want to do work for him for pay.

I was just pointing out that it might be a good opportunity for someone. It is painfully obvious that Sleazy doesn't see how shitty things really are.

Here's a solution. Why not offer to do it on a % basis. Say a % for 3 to 6 months of revenue. If it's truly selling the way he's saying. You should make some descent cash for your work and it won't be any out of pocket expense for him. If the site is a true flop, well I guess we'll all know the truth. ;)

sleazy still has traffic. no idea why he wouldn't trade plugs or banners for a new design.

Like I said, his pride is pretty much all he has left. I'm sure it gets in the way on a daily basis.

Actually if i was sleazydream, i would do less design, instead of it looking at all graphical i would have it simple css grab a wordpress template in html format and do it like one of those BS seo sites with the seo gurus who can get you to NUMBER 1 in google make millions blah blah.

It doesn't look great, but it could sell, especially if SD implements people's suggestions. I honestly don't know.

I just want to know if you really saw that review somewhere, or if you've seen the members' area. You can only partially predict how well a site will retain by it's tour.

what gets me is him calling everyone else idiots and acting like he was better than most before he went bankrupt. a nice big helping of humble pie karma flavor. stupid site only a fat slob with no game would think thats a good site to signup to... hey wait a minute...
