Domain Statistics Tool - your opinion needed
 

Hi there,

We've launched a new free online domain statistics tool called WebBoar (http://www.webboar.com).

Here's a sample link to show what information we can provide to our visitors:

From now we also gather the information about google analytics accounts to show the other websites using the same Analytics ID, for instance like here:

The database covers more than 120 mil. domains in the major zones (com, net, org, info, biz), some regional sk, ru, ua and now we start working to serve all TLDs possible ( http://www.webboar.com/tld/ ) ..

Could you please share your opinion about what else (any other features) would you like to see there?

The database is updated with new data daily so if there's nothing on your website except an IP address - that's just a temporary issue.

I just checked a domain that I moved to a different host almost a month ago - and the old DNS info is still in your database. :error

an update is coming. it takes a long time to update 120.000.000 records. we insert a new data every day (~500.000 new records) but we can't update the whole DB so often

It's, like every other website evaluation tool, a total crock of shite.

It values google at 23 million. A site I know very well, $624. Seriously, go play with the guys from websiteoutlook and all the rest of the jackasses.

if you have your own algorithm just let me know. that's not a key feature

remove the valuation feature temporarily maybe, so people don't focus on that and overlook the rest

yeah, we definitely will disable it.

any system like this estimates the worth of the websites using the information about traffic, backlinks, pr, website age and so on but it's not easy to say what's better ($$$) - some Chinese website with million visitors per day or forex.com with 10 times less traffic.

i own this website - 5d.com - owned it since 1994 o 1995 or something like that. always thought i would do something with it someday now i sold the communications company that used to use it .... so - i enter it into you analytics engine and it returns - "that is not a valid site address" .... so wtf! useless to me.:disgust

When i type in 5dtv.com, another of my domains - its shows the wrong whois ... LOL

you are wrong .. i have no idea who those other people are ... check with networksolutions and you will see who the real owner is .. and it is not who you say it is - not at all. i should know. i have wopned it for - oh - almost 20 years LOL ... 5d and 5dtv both ...:disgust

i never told this is whois for domain. it's for ip

we've implemented IP address history. From thursday all IP changes for any domain on the Net will be recorded and shown for all with no restrictions
