    Anyone purchased any body scanning or bomb detection stocks

    I was home on vacation this week and did a little day trading with all the hype regarding the failed xmas plane bombing attempt.

    I was in ICXT (body scanning for airports) but since my wife needed me to take her shopping at a Japanese supermarket. I decided to sell it and only mad a very small gain, and then I took her to the supermarket in Jersey, well the stock jumped another $6

    Rule #1 if your going to day trade you need to be at your computer watching.

    I did make some money trading MOC (security personal) and RAE (detection). But I am still in IMSC.OB (sniffer for bomb detection) and VSYM.OB (body scanners) and had a chance to sell both for some nice $$$ and decided to hold both stocks. (well blame the wife again...she is home also this week and wanted to have some fun

    Rule #2 if your going to day trade you should not be holding over night and definetly not over a long weekend.

    So throw the rules out, now I remember why I stopped trading stocks...too stressful.

    Anyone also involved in any of these type of stocks, other plays are LSI, IDOI.OB, OSI, GLOI, IDN, ACTI, IRSN, and others.

                  the volume is there from all this hype...and I am banking on Monday for most of these stocks to continue to rise.

                  Can't day trade with no volume...if the volume drops I just dump them...gain or loss...and move on.

                      If your having fun, good for you; you can't be that heavy with <10MM marketcaps.

                          gambling is fun when your winning.

                          what sux is I go back to my 9-5 job on monday...so it is going to be tough to know when to sell, plus they have spy ware on the computers to watch what your doing.

                          long term I like C, since the government will just give them more money if they screw up. This guy at my job who is very smart talks about STEC and GSL as his picks.

                              maybe your wife should get a drivers license that way you dont have to play taxi all the time

                                      she has a license...it is more of a parking issue in NYC. Alternate side parking is a killer...it is hard enough to find parking for one car. Parking tickets here can run you $100-150 a pop.
