Technically not the last day of the decade until 2010 is over with, but whatever. Just like the Millenium everyone's going to make a big hullabaloo about it even though the celebration is a year too soon. Hip hip hooray!

For me it'll be a quiet gathering of friends and family just a short drive from the city at my nephew's country home. A little booze, a lot of food, some great tunes and maybe, just maybe if everyone's in a particularly cut-throat vicious mood.... monopoly. :D

I just hit the 4-0 in November and still feeling the sting...

This year for New year's Eve, I'm doing the stay and home and chill thing. I alternate years of hitting the strip and jumping into the madness and just staying the fuck home...

40 is the new pink.... I am loving it so far. Bonne Fête ;)

In Febuary I'll hit the big 4-7, and still haven't felt the sting.

Then again that's probably because I still have the mindset of when I was 37. :D

Tonight is also a Blue Moon = two full moons in the same month. Even more rare when on New Year's Eve. MORE rare at the start of a new decade.

I have the mindset of an 18 year old, but my body is thinking otherwise...and 5 kids will add some age, hehe

I know I'm losin my marbles.. I just spent $260 on a pair of jeans.

That's pretty crazy. No matter how old I am I will always try to stay in my ~18-20 year old mindset, tell me those weren't your most clever, motivated, and naturally talented days? Of course my actual age and knowledge will always keep me on a wiser level.

Then again I always said I would never stop watching nickelodeon or saturday morning cartoons, FUCK.
